*Upcoming Final Defense UPCOMING FINAL DEFENSE The following Ph.D. Candidates will be defending their dissertation this week. All defense examinations are public, so feel free to attend these exams and congratulate your colleagues for completing their Doctor of Philosophy degree! The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has scheduled Mr. Yen-Lin Lee’s Final Defense for the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Electrical Engineering (Electronic Circuits & Systems) as follows: Date: Monday, September 21, 2009Place: Calit2 - 4004 Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm The title of Mr. Lee’s presentation is “Method and Architecture Design for Motion Compensated Frame Interpolation in High-Definition Video Processing”.
